A raucous crowd witnessed Game 3 of the NBA Finals in South Florida and thousands streamed into downtown Denver bars to watch the Nuggets defeat Miami 109-94 on Wednesday. 
But in Longmont a more subdued audience came to our neighbors at Wibby Brewery to watch the game on their "Wib-o-tron," where regular commercial breaks on the TV broadcast were replaced by Wibby ads and jock jams blasting out of speakers. Whole families and several dogs joined the rather peaceful party with a food truck and pizza joint not far from all the flowing taps of local lagers.

Denver was in control throughout most of the contest on a night when Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray each had triple-doubles for the hometown team. Just two more wins and Nuggets fans can celebrate their first NBA championship EVER.
You can stay home and watch or join the crazy crowds in Denver with loads of law-enforcement looking on. But you can also party in downtown Longmont where things probably won't get too out of hand while you share a special moment with your community.
